Your heart is a canvas…
Your heart is precious…
“His divine power has given us EVERYTHING we need for a godly life
through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
Through these he has given us his very great and PRECIOUS promises,
so that through them you may participate in the divine nature,
having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
add to your faith goodness;
and to goodness, knowledge;
and to knowledge, self-control;
and to self-control, perseverance;
and to perseverance, godliness;
and to godliness, mutual affection;
and to mutual affection,
For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure,
they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind,
forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.”
-2 Peter 1: 1-10
Have we so quickly forgotten what the Lord has done for us?
So here we are… September…
things are going stable.
But for countless others…?
things are going crazy….
Are you going through fire?
Are you trying to find God in the chaos?
Are you daily struggling, trying to take up your cross?
Believe it or not…
EVERY DAY our heart gets painted.
Call it a sort of “Graffiti”…
And this “graffiti” comes in the form of media, relationships, family, books, words, thoughts, actions, dreams, etc.
However; something always happen when Jesus is NOT the biggest part of that list…
Your heart gets heavy…
Do you know what happens when anything gets too heavy to bear?
… Something ALWAYS breaks
In this world where the canvas of your heart is daily contacted by graffiti,
What has the most influence on the image that gets drawn?
Join us this month as we attempt to apply scripture to our hearts…
Because everyone knows that too much graffiti in one place is not very pretty.
So why do we trick ourselves into thinking that it is different with our hearts?
Only ONE “thing” can clean the “graffiti” off…
The grace and truth of Jesus!
Who’s voice are you listening too?
Is it the voice of Christ or the many voices of Satan?
Your answer determines what gets drawn on your heart.
There is a war going on RIGHT NOW for your heart…
Who will win your heart?
Who’s footprints are you going to follow…?
“DO NOT be afraid; keep on speaking, DO NOT be silent.
For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you….”
(Acts 18: 9-10)
