God's talking... Are we listening?

Another month has slipped by faster than it came. Another month comes with another opportunity to start fresh and gather strength!

Another Month!

This month has personal impact on me. Not only is the month of my birth, but it also the month when I heard the Lord's voice for the first time!

I don't know about you, but there is power and impact every-time I hear the Lord's voice! So this month will be a month of simply listening...

I challenge you to give the Lord 5 minutes of silence and complete focus in prayer, reading, and worship Everyday for a month

No cellphone, no music, no iPod, no T.V, no Facebook, no computer, everything off... Nothing but silence Nothing but 100% focus on the Lord!

Nothing but you, your bible, your notes, and our God. For 5 Minutes... And I Promise that you WILL hear the Lord clearly Are you up for the challenge? I will join you

It will be hard, but the blessings will far outweigh the sacrifice of time!

Do you find praying one of your weaknesses....? It's okay, Because we ALL do sometimes!

But we must stop focusing on only our strengths while ignoring our weaknesses. How can one get better at something if they never focus on what it is exactly making them weak?

Believe it or not, but there is help for our weakness... How do we receive that help...? By going to the Lord with it...

We must begin to sacrifice time WILLINGLY to a holy Lord JUST Like we sacrifice so much time to the things we enjoy!

Only the Lord can see the entire script of our lives from birth to death...

And guess what...? Prayer is direct communication with that same Lord!!

So when others are running with their heads cut off? That's the time to slow down and focus on what matters! The beauty in the Lord is that he promises that we will get where we want to go Faster WHILE Gaining Peace!

So what are we waiting for...? Just like so many, I sometimes struggle with slowing down... But in order to learn, We must be available!

...Being available starts with our time...

So let's grow closer to the Lord this month together

Brand new month, Brand new growth, Brand new start!

And just like anything that one wants to master,

...one must start somewhere, sometime.... So why not now?
